Commbank’s new Albert EFTPOS machines have made what was once a simple task virtually impossible for people who are blind or vision impaired. This is why we’re filing a case against Commbank in the Federal Court with the help of the legal team at the Public Interest Advocacy Centre.

Commbank’s oversight has caused a lot of frustration for blind and vision impaired people — with some people being forced to divulge their PINs to staff in order to make a payment.

We want to send them a strong message, as well as any other company looking at rolling out new technology, that they can’t ignore a part of our community.
