Nicole D'Souza

Nicole is a lawyer and international human rights advocate with experience across Australia, Hong Kong, London, and Geneva, working in government, private practice, and the non-profit sector. She has advised on employment, regulatory, litigation, and ethical sourcing matters, represented trade unions, and contributed to advocacy before the UN Human Rights Council.
Nicole holds a BA (French and International Relations), LLB, and LLM from the University of Sydney. She has held elected and appointment positions with the Goan Association of NSW, NSW Young Lawyers, the NSW Law Society Human Rights Committee, and the International Commission of Jurists Australia. Nicole currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of ActionAid Australia. At Grata Fund, Nicole provides in-house legal advisory and legal team management. She also leads Grata's incubation and support of strategic litigation across areas of human rights, climate justice and democracy, as well as law reform and advocacy work.
