Nathalie MacGregor
Executive Assistant
Nathalie is a law student and researcher, keenly interested in the intersections of policy, law and community. She is currently undertaking a Juris Doctor at the University of Technology Sydney. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Gender and Cultural Studies and Anthropology at the University of Sydney, followed by an Honours year in Gender Studies. Her thesis, awarded First Class Honours, explored intersectional and decolonial ecofeminist theory, reflecting her commitment to interrogating critical theory and social justice through research and community-based action.
Nathalie has worked in the non-profit legal sector as both an Executive Assistant and Paralegal, where she supported clients in a trauma-informed way across matters including race and disability discrimination, coronial inquests and public liability abuse. She is also the co-author of Strategic Litigation and Racism in Healthcare, published in the Griffith Journal of Law and Human Dignity, written in collaboration with Adjunct Professor George Newhouse and Ariane Dozer.
Nathalie grew up on Darkinjung land and now lives on Gadigal land. She approaches her work with curiosity, humility and care, and is passionate about using law as a tool to dismantle systemic injustice and imagine more equitable futures.
